Shalena's Wedding Story
My husband and I have been friends for a while, we met through mutual friends.
Sean and I were getting ready to go out on Halloween night, as we were leaving, on the porch, with trick or treaters coming up, he got on one knee and asked me to marry him! Yes I was surprised, but I did tell him I wanted to be engaged by the end of October, so he waited until the last day.
I didn't have a theme, I just chose items I liked. It was relaxed. If there was a style it might have been more on the bohemian style. We did have succulents as the flower and had pictures of succulents on the invites and some decor. I liked the simple but also classy vibe of the hair piece. I picked out a hair style and what I chose worked well. The most memorable moment was my dad walking me down the isle, and our friend Pastor Don marrying us. We went to Catalina for the day as our honeymoon. My advice to future brides would be, marry for the right reasons and always put God first!
